August 12, 201115 yr comment_42316 I suppose mine is kicking the bucket. It all started with that mess of a game Lgay noire. It constantly freezes on games, no rings or anything and everything else runs just fine. I even took out the hard drive to see if it was some sort of corrupt save. Anyways instead of being pissed for weeks I just need to get a new box. Any Suggestions? Something that comes with a good sized harddrive i have the min one that came out release which is like 20 or 16 or something small. Report
August 12, 201115 yr comment_42317 If you're planning on getting a new console, it looks like about $200 for an Elite with a 120GB HDD, or $300 for an Xbox 360 S with a 250GB HDD.http://www.google.co...ved=0CHMQ8wIwAwhttp://www.google.co...ved=0CHsQ8wIwBQYou could probably find them for $50-$100 cheaper refurbished, but I'd say it's worth getting new for the warranty. You'll love the extra space, 20GB is miniscule, even for a video game console. With more space you can install your games to the hard drive so they'll load a bit faster and can't be scratched. That might help with some of L.A. Noire's problems. Report
August 12, 201115 yr comment_42326 It depends on your needs, if having wireless built in is a plus, I'd definitely go with an S model, if not you can usually find one of the slightly older models cheaper, and it'll be compatible with your current hard drive while the new one won't. Report

You will also be able to use your wireless network adapter. If you get an S, none of those will be compatible, but it comes with built in WiFi so you won't need the adapter. Either way you'd probably have to pay $10-$20 extra to buy a transfer cable if you want to save all of your saved games and DLC. Report
