Hey again guys. Sorry I've been away for quite a time (over 6 months I think.) I've been through two semesters of junior college in the meantime and haven't even really been gaming much until now. I've been taking my semesters slow but after next spring I should be finished. Let's see, I also went through my first sorta girlfriend and my first actual girlfriend in that period, both lasting about a month and ending in heartbreak so I'm basically back to where I was before, just a little more disappointed and slightly more experienced emotionally. Other than online folk like you guys I still don't really have IRL friends to actually hang with, so when those relations…

It's the end of an era. With the release of Don McLeans's "American Pie", Harmonix is ending its weekly DLC releases for Rock Band. I don't know how many of you played or still play the game, but after 271 consecutive weeks, it's finally over. 4000 tracks and 1500 different artists later, this really is a feat that nobody else will match any time soon, if ever.

http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2012/04/security-experts-cispa-not-needed-would-do-more-harm-than-good.html Not even going to quote any of it. Want you to go to the link and read it. Also, I'm in favor of Gamercide going black tomorrow for the CISPA blackout. A day without the forums would keep CISPA in my thoughts all day. I lied. Here's a short quip from the article. But most of the web giants like Google and Facebook which opposed SOPA are now supporting CISPA. Why? Probably because SOPA would have held them responsible for their users’ actions, while CISPA won’t make the web giants responsible. In other words, they don’t have skin in the game this time around.…

  15. Internal government documents obtained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center have revealed that the US Department of Justice is secretly helping AT&T and other service providers evade wiretapping laws so that the US government can conduct surveillance on parts of their networks. The legal immunity comes from authorizations granted by the Justice Department through special "2511" letters that absolve carriers in the event that the surveillance is found to run afoul of federal law. The authorization program began as a narrow cybersecurity effort to monitor government defense contractors, but has been expanded to cover critical infrastructure like energy, financ…

This needs to stop post haste http://www.alternet.org/cops-go-undercover-high-school-bust-special-needs-kid-pot-why-are-police-so-desperate-throw-kids In a video segment on ABC News, they say they were "thrilled" when their son -- who has Asperger's and other disabilities and struggled to make friends -- appeared to have instantly made a friend named Daniel. “He suddenly had this friend who was texting him around the clock,” Doug Snodgrass told ABC News. His son had just recently enrolled at Chaparral High School. "Daniel," however, was an undercover cop with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department who " hounded" the teenager to sell him his prescription medicati…

  24. Evidence that would have exonerated a husband of murder charges over his wife. He spent a quarter of a decade in prison because some asshole DA wanted to further his career. He also has to pay out a whopping $500 and can never practice law again. Please read this. This is what's up with our criminal courts in America right now. The so called defenders of law get away with slaps on the wrists while everyday citizens get the full force of the law. http://www.statesman.com/news/news/ken-anderson-to-serve-10-days-in-jail/nbmsH/
