The man that has enforced Xbox Live's policy to millions has decided to leave his 17 year position at Microsoft. Stephen "Stepto" Toulouse made the announcement on his website saying that Febraury 15th will be his last day on the job. "Despite the wonderful ability in Microsoft to change careers pretty dramatically inside the company, I’ve been there nearly 18 years and it’s the only world I’ve really ever known. I feel too strangely comfortable, and too strangely tied." If you are finding yourself heading off to college later this year and need a computer or maybe you are already taking classes and need a new computer, now would be the time to make that purchase. Microsoft announced that beginning on May 22 until September 3 if you purchase a new Windows 7 PC that is valued at $699 or more you will receive a free 4 GB Xbox 360 S model at participating retailers. Everybody's favorite little wad of juicy, cubed meat is getting an "Ultra Edition" version for the PC. The "Ultra Edition" includes a 40-page booklet and a behind the scenes look, as well as a soundtrack with audio samples, extended Team Meat's comic book, and a mini poster of Super Meat Boy that is fan made by Dave Rapoza and happens to be quite disturbing. Telltale has released a few details regarding the highly anticipated episodic series, Tales From The Borderlands. The episodes will take place after the events in Borderlands 2. Telltale has teased that gamers will have to decide which of the two characters; Fiona who is con-artist or Rhys who is a Hyperion worker is lying or if they both are telling the truth. Telltale also said that characters that are familiar to the series will return in Tales From The Borderlands, however the game will not be set around those characters. A trailer for yet another video game to movie transition, this time for Namco's Tekken, though judging from the presence of Jin Kazama and Eddy Gordo, it would probably be more appropriate to call it "Tekken 3", but that would have messed with general movie goer's heads too much. (You'll also have to excuse the insertion of captions mocking /Film). So far, the film has only premiered in the United States on November 5, 2009, as part of the American Film Market Film Festival, hoping to find a distributor. Id Software starts off its advertising campaign for Rage with the release of a new TV Spot, featuring the visceral combat the game has always showcased, to the aptly titled song "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums" by the band A Perfect Circle. The fast pace and dark tones of the song do well when used in tandem with the guns, gore, wingsticks and the Wasteland this superb trailer shows off. Also featured are rocket-launchers, some of the enemies the player will encounter in their journey (a stories-tall, giant mutant and The Authority among others), and sweeping vistas of the large gang hideouts players can discover. EA is no stranger to controversy. Their push of making gamers pay for every little thing that they have to offer is just one example of the type of controversy that EA has been dealing with, but what about the heated controversy surrounding the upcoming Medal of Honor's playable Taliban characters?
