Like a politician, Square Enix has flopped their opinion on a Final Fantasy VII remake and instead they are now stating that a Final Fantasy VII remake will happen when another Final Fantasy title can exceed the quality of Final Fantasy VII. I personally can think of one Final Fantasy that has already done that a long ago, but that's beside the point. The latest news in the rumor mill has Take Two Interactive registering what appears to be several different domain names for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. According to video game blog Ripten, Take Two has registered CashForDeadDreams.com, SixFigureTemps.com, StopPayingYourMortgage.net, HammersteinFaust.com, and LifeInvader.com between January 26th and January 7th showing signs that Rockstar and Take Two will be continuing the tradition of viral advertising like they did with GTA IV that included the "Wanted" posters that were put up in different cities in New York. Gamers have been pouring into Metacritic to give their own reviews and score for Mass Effect 3 which just so happened to release at midnight. New figures from the NPD group are showing that the Xbox 360 is leaving the competition behind as it pulls away in terms of online game sales and game point cards that sold in stores. The graphs that were released by the NPD group today showcase that the Xbox 360 has had a steady and continuious rise in the number of online games and point cards that are being sold since 2006. Sega has just posted on their blog the release dates and prices for the HD remakes of NiGHTS into Dreams and Sonic Adventure 2. The uber popular and one of the top selling games for the Sega Saturn, NiGHTS into Dreams will be releasing on October 2 for the Playstation Network and on October 5th to the Xbox Live Marketplace. It is priced at $9.99 or 800 MS points. Ryan Payton made the shocking announcement and broke news that he formed his own studio, Camouflaj. A countdown timer has appeared on BioWare's website earlier and it is counting down the days and minutes leading up to some kind of an announcement. Just what is the announcement?
