Oh how we rely on the ESRB for the initial ratings of games. The ESRB’s recent details about Tecmo’s upcoming breastacular game is…well words can not express it, so have a look see for yourself. “This is a video game in which users watch grown women dressed in G-string bikinis jiggle their breasts while on a two-week vacation. Women’s breasts and butts will sway while playing volleyball, while hopping across cushions, while pole dancing, while posing on the ground, by the pool, on the beach, in front of the camera. There are other activities: Users can gamble inside a casino to win credits for shopping; they can purchase bathing suits, sunglasses, hats, clothing at an is…

It shouldn't comes as a surprise to anyone that EA loves to milk DLC for every penny that they can get. So this piece of news should be expected. EA has officially announced that in the year 2011, every single title that they launch in 2011 will have online features and paid DLC. That’s right folks. Every single title is going to be milked until it is bone dry. Is this a lame attempt to try to keep down the selling of used copies of their games (looking at you Mass Effect 2) or has EA finally gone too far with the love affair for DLC? bit-tech Click here to view the article

That is the question after a recent statement that was made by Activision's Bobby Kotick after the rumor mill has been swirling about Activision making a Call of Duty MMO that would require a subscription to play online. "If you think about the success that we've had in other product categories on subscription, you can get a sense of the direction that we want to take that franchise," Quick to show that they are not down with that decision if it happens, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling released a statement. "This rumor has absolutely nothing to do with Infinity Ward or our games, including Modern Warfare 2. We would never introduce such a system for Modern Warfare 2 so do…

Peter Molyneux has said that Fable III is moving on from the RPG category. In fact Fable III is more of an action/adventure title now. "I'm not sure I even call Fable an RPG anymore, certainly not a 1990s RPG, for sure. "In a way, you could look at it and say it's like an action adventure. There's a lot of drama, there a lot of story, there's a lot of emotion in there - but with levelling up. I love that levelling up....." (VG247) This statement was made during Microsoft's X10 event where new details emerged about the upcoming RPG-less game. Fable III will not be sporting a health bar this time around. Instead when your character gets hurt, the screen will begin chang…

Square Enix keeps giving console fanboys reasons to argue over whether the PS3 or 360 will produce the mind blowing graphics that are expected from Final Fantasy XIII. Yesterday Square released comparison screenshots claiming that each photo showed what FFXIII will look like on both consoles. One of the screenshots in particular, gamers took notice that it appeared to be altered, because the screenshots were identical except that the buttons were altered to match the console that the screenshot was suppose to be representing. “Unfortunately we did mistakenly include screenshots taken for pre-production (non-promotional use only) in our latest release of assets. Screens…

It appears that gamers are getting screwed over again when it comes to being forced to buy DLC if they want to add hours to gameplay. Jun Takeuchi, the producer for Lost Planet 2 has stated that there was "no trouble", but the content was too much for them to deal with. “There wasn’t especially any big trouble. More than those kind of difficulties, the edited content was way too much and dealing with that was more difficult than anything.... This time, truly, the content that was cut was significant." He added that the cut content will probably end up as DLC, but are we really surprised? VG247 Click here to view the article

In a move that really surprises no one, Netflix and Nintendo have finally announced that Netflix streaming will be available on the Wii this spring. As with the PS3, a disc will be needed to access the streaming on the Wii, as well as a $9 per month subscription to the Netflix service. No additional fees from Nintendo or Neflix will be required. As I'm sure you are aware, the Wii does not have high-def capabilities, so no HD streaming will be available. Hopefully with Netflix on all 3 major consoles everyone can access some of the great stuff that Netflix has been working hard to add to their streaming lineup. Stay tuned to Gamercide for information on how to get your…

Capcom has announced that they have added Tricell CEO Excella Gionne as a playable character in RE5: Gold’s Mercenary Reunion mode. Why? Your guess is as good as mine considering that fan favorite Leon should have been added, but who am I to get in the way of a gamer staring at video game boobage. Keep in mind that besides boobs, RE5: Gold will be offering new costumes for Chris and Sheva, along with the anticipated story of what really happened to Jill Valentine during the Spencer Mansion and gamers will also get to play through the race between Jill and Josh to get to Chris and Sheva after she was rescued by them in the events of RE5 before the “final” confrontation …
