Even though this will do you absolutely no good until you physcially have a copy of Modern Warfare 3 inserted into your Xbox 360, Microsoft decided to allow you to download the free Call of Duty Elite service today via the Xbox Live Marketplace. With the newest rhythm games edging closer and closer to released, Harmonix has released the full set list for the game. When the game comes out we will get the standard guitar, drum, and vocal parts but we will also have the new keyboard instrument as well. Not only that, but the 3 part vocals that were first introduced in Beatles Rock Band are also present. EA has aquired one of the most successful social and causal gaming companies in the video game industry, PopCap Games. Announced late in the day on July 12, EA paid around $650 million in cash for the company and gave $100 million in shares to certain PopCap shareholders. The aquisition is expected to close at the end of August. No news on what EA's plans are for PopCap who is responsible for such hits as Plants vs. Zombies, Bejeweled, and Bookworm. Why in the world would a director of a highly anticipated game say, “20 per cent of the players will see the last level of the game. It’s horrible to know. It makes the people working on it really really sad,”. I have no clue why, but Hitman: Absolution’s director Tore Blystad made this rather idiotic remark in a recent interview with the Official Playstation Magazine. To Blystad’s credit he did say that game was made for people who want to go back and replay it. While Sony says, “We do not comment on rumors or speculation about our products” when questioned about whether or not God of War IV was on the horizon, a composer who is working on the music for the game has ousted the project without Sony knowing.
