Ubisoft has announced their 2012 list of releases and interestingly enough, Assassin’s Creed 3 is listed on that list for release this year.

• Assassin’s Creed 3 – 360, PS3, Wii U, Microsoft Windows
• Brother’s in Arms: Furious 4 – 360, PS3, Microsoft Windows
• Far Cry 3 – 360, PS3, Microsoft Windows
• Just Dance: Final Party – 360, Playstation Move, Wii U
• I Am Alive – 360, PS3
• Prince of Persia – Wii, 3DS
• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – 360, PS3, Microsoft Windows
• Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online – Microsoft Windows, Wii U
• Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Retribution – 360, PS3, Microsoft Windows

It appears that it’s going to be a profitable year for Ubisoft if they can manage to keep those games in the 2012 release lineup.

Good lineup there, Ubisoft makes some pretty cool games. I'll definitely want to get Assassin's Creed 3, but it better not be another damn "in-between" game. It can't be after Revelations. Revelations was cool, but I wanted to see what was next in the story, not just have it stalled with a bunch of introspection.

Always knew they'd want to aim for releasing AC3 around December 2012 though.

Looks like that Prince of Persia game will be a remake, but I would like to see a proper new game of that, on PC and consoles. I'm just not sure what they'd do with the story. The original Prince's story ended (and the latest game was an interquel), and the 2008 game sort of did it's own thing, so they might have to either try another reboot, or make it about the Prince when he's older. Would be kinda cruel, poor guy's been through so much and Two Thrones was supposed to be the end, would suck for him if more bad s*** ruined his life and he had to fix it AGAIN. lol
