Make as many jokes as you want about this, but "Get Ready to Lick the Competition" says Microprose and Kung Fu Factory in a press release for their new arcade game titled, Girl Fight. Releasing later this spring, Girl Fight is well as the title implies girls fighting and will feature long legs, flying hair, and sexy vixen-esqe fighters. The female only fighters will be customizable with characters skins, abilities, and codex entries. That ashy white and red chiseled body that makes up Kratos on Sony's hugely successful God of War series, will be launching God of War III officially on March 16, 2010 in the US, March 19, 2010 in Europe, and March 25, 2010 in Japan. The release date for North America was never confirmed until today by Sony. God of War III will be the final installment of the current Kratos storyline. Will Kratos succeed as him, Gaia, and the Titans head towards Olympus or will Kratos have to live with his revenge never seeing the light of day? While Sony says, "We do not comment on rumors or speculation about our products" when questioned about whether or not God of War IV was on the horizon, a composer who is working on the music for the game has ousted the project without Sony knowing. The award winning Timothy Williams has confirmed to Joystiq that he is indeed helping out with composing the music for God of War IV and that the game is now on his resume as "upcoming". 2010's GoldenEye 007 that came out on the Nintendo Wii will be getting a HD remake for the the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Activision made the announcement after several ongoing rumors were spreading that the company would announce the game at this year's Comic Con. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is being built with a new game engine to deliver better graphics and better game play than the Wii version. Now that the Sony GoW3 has come and gone, Microsoft has announced that its GoW3 will be arriving to finish the fight. Gears of War 3 is in development for a release date of April 2011. According to Kotaku, the official first announcement of Gears of War 3 was to take place on Cliff Bleszinski's appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon April 8th, but his appearance was postponed to the 12th at the last minute, supposedly to "polish what we're showing". Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be releasing on Tablets and Smartphones in December. Amazon Kindle, Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices will all be receiving GTA: San Andreas. Previously GTA III and GTA: Vice City were released and received mixed reviews due to difficult controls, because of the touchscreen. Rockstar has said that GTA: San Andreas on tablets and smart phones will have remastered graphics, enhanced character and car model, and a reworked checkpoint system. The latest news in the rumor mill has Take Two Interactive registering what appears to be several different domain names for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. According to video game blog Ripten, Take Two has registered CashForDeadDreams.com, SixFigureTemps.com, StopPayingYourMortgage.net, HammersteinFaust.com, and LifeInvader.com between January 26th and January 7th showing signs that Rockstar and Take Two will be continuing the tradition of viral advertising like they did with GTA IV that included the "Wanted" posters that were put up in different cities in New York. Today 343 Industries has released a little trailer detailing the ins and outs of the popular Halo 2 map, 'Headlong'. Tweaked and updated as it is for the launch of Halo: Anniversary, the map will still promote the frantic vehicle and sniper gameplay fans loved about original map, now re-named 'Breakneck'. The description reads as follows: Headlong – Section 21 once looked out onto the New Mombasa Orbital Elevator with pride and optimism.
