Blizzard has announced that players of their massive time consuming and ever so popular PC game, World of Warcraft will receive the upcoming Diablo 3 free. Of course there is a teeny tiny catch. DICE has released a single player and multiplayer patch for Battlefield 4 on the PS4 that fixes numerous problems that gamers have been plagued with since it's release. The patch fixes regular crashing issues and also crashing issues associated with changing weapons and maps and crashes occurring from resuming the single player campaign. Other fixes included in the patch are the reduction of the probability that you will get a corrupt save file in single player, a bug has been fixed that caused a connection error when accessing Playstation Plus, and improved performance when a player shoots at destroying Levolution objects. DICE has released a statement regarding several problems with the Xbox One version of Battlefield 4 and admits that they are not "proud" of the issues that many are experiencing. DICE's studio manager Karl Magnus Troedsson released a statement telling Xbox One users that they are committed to fixing the ongoing problems. "At DICE, we are committed to you, the fans, and view the game as a live service. I am extremely proud of the people at DICE and everyone across EA that contributed to the development of Battlefield 4. DICE has come forward and is threatening to swing the mighty banhammer towards any gamers who are caught using any kind of cheats and/or glitches. There are 3 Deals of the Week this week on Xbox Live and 2 games coming to XBLA. Lazy Raiders, Band of Bugs and Madballs in Babo: Invasion are all reduced from 800 Microsoft Points to 400 this week, while Avatar Wave Snowball Fight is also available for 80 points. Voodoo Dice will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade for 800 MS Points. However the biggest news this week is the arrival of Doom II on XBLA. I'm sure this one will come in at 800 MS Points as well, but a price has yet to be confirmed. In a rather odd announcement, Double Fine which has brought such games as Brutal Legend and the recently released title Stacking to a living room near you, has announced that they are working on a new title. A family friendly title if you will. Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster is being developed by Double Fine for the Kinect and is aimed at getting the children and family gaming together in a fun, friendly, and educational environment. Double Fine is looking for the publishing rights for their 2005 hit Psychonauts that was previously published by Majesco. Double Fine's Anna Kipnis jumped the gun early on Twitter by announcing that Double Fine now has the publishing rights to the Psychonauts brand. However Tim Schafer clarified the news by stating that they are in the process of converting all of the rights to the franchise to Double Fine.
