  6. 343 Industries Frank O' Connor has had enough of game leaks coming from inside the industry and wants everyone to know that "leakers" are not doing anybody any favors. "Breaking embargos is not prophesy, "Nor does it require any particular skill or insight. Ultimately he is taking or being given information and leaking it, illegally and often erroneously. And he isn't doing it for some noble or worthy reason. He's doing it for attention. "People, including nice people with kids and families and stuff, work super hard on this stuff and wake up in the morning to find some of their effort blown up. It's not fun, and for what? So you can have a mildly interesting surprise 8 h…

  8. NetherRealm Studios released another Mortal Kombat X trailer showcasing more of what's to come or who is to come on April 15th when this long running franchise hits store shelves. Kitana, one of the more popular female characters in the franchise is shown slicing and dicing with her fans in her usual scantily blue clad attire. Perhaps what is more interesting about this announcement is that in the previous Mortal Kombat game, Kortana died along with Kung Lao who is also a returning character. As many know in the world of Mortal Kombat, characters that have died and returned is not exactly unusual, however it was previously stated that Mortal Kombat X intends to pickup imm…

  9. When I first got the email offering to review a Hatsune Miku game, I had to go out and see what Hatsune Miku games were. Looking at screenshots, I realized they were generally Dance Dance Revolution or Beatmania style games. So, I decided to give it a go. Now, I didn't watch videos or do much research in to what I was getting myself in to...That said I wasn't prepared. I wasn't prepared at all. Let's get in to this thing and see what I signed up for in my time with Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone. Graphically this game has a TON going on and this can be extremely distracting when you're trying to actually play the game. As you play you will try…

  10. Want to roll the dice and see where it lands when it comes to buying a new Xbox 360? The Xbox 360′s that are on sale are refurbished and are the 20 GB Pro models. Keep in mind that you would have no way of knowing if the refurbished console that you may be thinking of buying during this sale suffered from the enormous three red lights or better known as the ”RROD” outage that plagued Microsoft for the first couple of years that Xbox 360 released. Each refurbished console comes with the usual console standar…

Developed by: Cold Beam Games Published by: Cold Beam Games Platforms: PC, PS3 Players: 1-2, online and offline Rated E for Everyone by the ESRB Beat Hazard in itself was an extremely fun music visualizer slash space shooter often compared to Geometry Wars. Rightly so, as the basic gameplay is much the same, with the onslaughts of enemies coming at your omnidirectionally firing ship, equipped with devastating, screen clearing bombs. The twist is that the gameplay is powered by your music. Your firepower is immediately influenced by the intensity of a song, while enemy and boss spawn patterns are determined by various factors throughout the entire song. Every song g…

BloodRayne hasn’t had the best track record. A couple of lackluster action games from the last console generation probably doesn’t have many excited for this new iteration. Will the drastic departure from the original’s style be enough to win over new fans? Let’s delve in to this 2D blood fest and see what we get. When WayForward announced they were working on a Bloodrayne title for XBLA, it was a pretty big shock. Their last game, A Boy and His Blob was really. A button dedicated to sucking the blood out of your enemies is a HUGE departure from the dedicated button for hugging. I’ve never been a fan of the Bloodrayne series, but I think I’ve been converted after t…
