Want to roll the dice and see where it lands when it comes to buying a new Xbox 360?  GameStop has announced that as an online special only, gamers can purchase Xbox 360′s for a low price of $99.  Before you pull that credit card out there is a catch.

The Xbox 360′s that are on sale are refurbished and are the 20 GB Pro models.  Keep in mind that you would have no way of knowing if the refurbished console that you may be thinking of buying during this sale suffered from the enormous three red lights or better known as the ”RROD” outage that plagued Microsoft for the first couple of years that Xbox 360 released.

Each refurbished console comes with the usual console standards such as a wireless controller, headset, and all of the cables.  Also included in the purchase is a 90 day manufacturer’s warranty incase your console would suffer an early ill fated death.
