Release Date: May 10 2013 http://youtu.be/xi-ufQs3Dis Aftershock is an American horror-thriller starring Eli Roth, Andrea Osvárt, Ariel Levy, Nicolas Martinez, Lorenza Izzo, and Natasha Yarovenko. The film also features a cameo from Selena Gomez. It is directed by Nicolás López. The film was written by López, Eli Roth and Guillermo Amoedo, from a story by Roth and López. The film, while fictional, was based on true events from the 2010 8.8 earthquake in Chile. The film was shot in Chile, in many of the same locations where the destruction took place. The idea came from a conversation with Roth and Lopez, where Lopez described the horrors of not just the earthquake, but t…

This is the American remake of "Let the Right One In". If you haven't seen the original, I highly recommend it. It is a Swedish film, so it is subtitled. Very good though. Original Swedish version still streams on Netflix.

"I AM BIG BIRD is a documentary about Caroll Spinney, who has been Sesame Street’s Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch since 1969." You know, I have no alignment with this project at all, but really want to see it happen. www.kickstarter.com/projects/472635228/i-am-big-bird

So Arrested Development Season 4 is officially out on Netflix today. I've watched the 1st episode so far and I'm quite disappointed. I'm hoping it was only a setup episode to explain what's happened in between season 3 and 4 and that it will pick up more. Anyone else watch the show and is planning on watching the new season on Netflix? The first episode centered on Michael and the 2nd one is concentrating on George Senior. Interesting set up...

Went and saw Abe L. Vampire hunter. It really put some good twists on history and facts. The action was good. I acc expected it to suck but was suprised

From the Director of Hero and House of Flying Daggers, Zhang Yimou. Looks visually impressive as usual from Yimou.

Does he fit the role? Yay or nay? I think he does, but I care more about the role of Deadpool than Green Lantern. But that's just me. Full Story here.

UBISOFT attaches TOM HARDY to play SAM FISHER in the upcoming TOM CLANCY’S SPLINTER CELL MOVIE. Link

Dunno how many fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 are on here, but I love the show. Since its ended, three of the mainstays went on to form rifftrax.com, where they basically do the same thing they did on MST3K (add humorous and mocking commentary onto movies), but now have a way of doing it without having to license the films they mock: by providing the commentary, you can purchase and download it and play it while watching the movie (they offer ways of keeping the commentary track and movie in sync), or if you're REALLY tech savvy, you can over lay the commentary over the movie directly. A few years back, they opened up the opportunity to host anyone's rifftrax, cal…

Already released, but I didn't give it much thought. Lately on Twitter, though, some people have been calling this movie the best super hero type movie out in a long time. It does look interesting, if not far fetched.

pretty good flick. low budget and cheesey, but it's a comedy, so it works. 5 out of 5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtV3N9zRrJs not sure how to make vids pop up on here, so do it the old fashioned way...

Took morgan to see it last night and found it to be pretty darn good. The story is good with some great laughs. The way they brought some old games out along with new was well mixed, if you have kids this should def be on the must see list
