Monaco developer Andy Schatz came upon a brilliant idea while trying to figure out a special easter egg to include in his upcoming award-winning stealth game. It started out with Andy looking for some clever text to display when a computer is being hacked in Monaco, and somehow that lead to the creation of a public Google Doc which everyone can put forward their suggestions of funny command line snippets that could be used in the game. Do you like the idea of Skyrim mods, but are still a little intimated by the idea of finding and installing them? When Bethesda launches the Skyrim Creation Kit in January, which will give everyone access to the development tools used to make The Elder Scrolls V, the current plan is to integrate the mods produced by the community into Steam Workshop. What does that mean? Mods will then be listed on Steam and will be searchable, rateable and easily installed. Wondering if anyone knew of a good mod to spawn NPC's. I want to find something quick and easy so I can set up massive battles. Against other NPC's. I know quite a few of you play this.

Sooooo, apparently Minecraft has been translated into around 56 languages. The devs couldn't really do it themselves, so they relied on the community for a lot of translations. Well in Minecraft's newest version which contains a translation for Afrikaans, the language spoken by Namibians and South Africans, players were greeted with an especially NOT COOL main menu upon switching languages. I'm putting this in spoilers to avoid any problems. So yeah, some community member who did the translation thought this was funny. According to a report just published, Bethesda is creating an MMO based on the Elder Scrolls universe. The website Tom's Guide has published an article claiming that an Elder Scrolls MMO is in production, citing an anonymous industry source. The source also told the site that the game would take place a millennium prior to the events of Skyrim, and the author speculates that this would place it in the "Second Era" of Elder Scrolls. This would mean the MMO takes place hundreds of years before any game in the series. Its finally been confirmed, with new area's and bosses(2 new bosses to be exact), though it also uses GFWL(not a deal breaker but I would just rather it didn't, I don't like having to go through both steam and GFWL just to play Batman Arkham City). I'll probably picked it up again if only for a framerate above 10 in blighttown.
