"Free" seems like a loose term when you need to pay for gold first.

True dat! I am hearing though if you stop paying for Live these games they are giving away are still yours to keep. Well..... until your hard drive fails haha!

What makes me laugh is the games they are giving away for free are not really worth signing up for Live just to get them.
