"Deluxe Vault Hunters Edition" at $99, gets a Marcus Kincaid bobble head

Ultimate Loot Chest Edition" (pictured above) delivers you a stylized Borderlands loot chest with all the goodies packed inside.

Click the link below to find out about the extra bonus character you can nab by pre-ordering.

Also -- "Gearbox also detailed the game's character customization, which features a color and decal editing system, unique and Weapons Manufacturer-specific skins and rare, collectible decorative heads that players can apply to their class of choice.

Players of the original Borderlands will receive a unique head and skin for each class as a bonus."

^Forum kept making that link into a video, complete with errors.

I was planning on going for a 4 pack of it with some friends if they did that again on steam, but I don't know, i've just become so sick of pre-order stuff these days, and besides TF2 i'm playing mostly single player. I've just go so many old games to play that its pretty easy to just wait for a complete edition or on sale, heck I still haven't even bought skyrim.

Not a fan of preorder bonuses, but Gearbox is doing it exactly how it should be done. You're getting something extra, but it's not any form of withheld content. They're working on DLC before release, but only in concept, to be worked on later on after the release of the game with everything they've developed being put into it from the start.

If the DLC is about $10, this isn't much different than something like Amazon would do, with a $10 credit for preordering.

I don't see what the difference between dlc they make before release or not. They are out to make money, and if that starts with an idea before the game is released or actual work on the dlc, it doesn't matter. Same thing, but people get bent out of shape for some reason if the dlc is already made.

As for borderlands I'm still on the fence. I won't enjoy it as much on Xbox, but that's where everyone will be playing.
