March 27, 201115 yr comment_33588 I say let him think what he wants. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I don't agree with him, but hey, if that's what he thinks, then so be it. However, I don't think he should have been a coward and deleted the post. He should have left it up and taken the heat. Report
March 27, 201115 yr comment_33595 What a douche. What makes him more of a douche is the fact that he deleted the post. I think somebody needs to tell Mr. Adams that nothing is deleted on the internet after it's been posted. He deserves every piece of backlash he gets from males and females, because I found that post insulting to both genders. Report
March 27, 201115 yr comment_33603 It's funny because I think he has some good and true points, but the overall purpose for that whole article is skewed. Report
March 27, 201115 yr comment_33607 i will say that white, young males get kind of screwed over a lot. not saying others don't, but don't fool yourself into thinking we don't. also, i'm tired of anything written about anyone that's not a young white christian male being labeled as insensitive or racist or sexist. call a dude a stupid ****, it's all good. you simply realize he is a ****, and even if all men were *****, it's cool. just an opinion. call a woman a stupid ****....omg.....you are sooooo evil. you hate all women. you aren't merely commenting on this woman. you are a caveman incapable of compassion or thought.that being said, he was all over the map. the article sucked. and he's a coward for pulling it down. never liked dilbert either. March 28, 201115 yr comment_33608 The opening point I think is important though we're he addresses the idea of "Men's Rights". I took a sociology class here and the professor is one of the most popular on campus, he just retired last semester and gave his final lecture and one of the biggest points he brought up is how ridiculous Women Studies has become and the lack of the study of Men and Boys. While Women studies is important, he mentioned how Men make up 90+ % of those incarcirated in the US and how it should be a priority to understand why boys and men do what we do and to help change some of the negative aspects. IMO Women studies is on of the most worthless classes taught here, mostly by old stubborn hippie liberals. Report
March 28, 201115 yr comment_33615 Some "ok" points, but mostly a completely retarded article. What turned me off the most was the "path of least resistance" business. So he wants men to basically just "give up" and not fight for things? Take the escalator instead of the steps? He's kind of a tool. I did absolutely rejoice at this bit though:How about the higher rates for car insurance that young men pay compared to young women? Statistics support this inequity, but I don’t think anyone believes the situation would be legal if women were charged more for car insurance, no matter what the statistics said.Truth is truth. Young males tend to get a couple more smaller speeding tickets than younger females, but I kid you not, young females get in like 5-10x more stupid accidents. I hope none of you girls get mad at me for saying that, but working in insurance I know it to be the truth. Report
March 28, 201115 yr comment_33616 I've met a few guys who've gotten out of tickets, mean while I know countless girls, including my own sister, who brag about how many they've gotten themselves out of. I think the "accessories" women have and the immense # of officers in the force who are men has more to do with speeding tickets then the actual driving capabilities between boys and girls. Report

I hope none of you girls get mad at me for saying that, but working in insurance I know it to be the truth. I was in two accidents since I got my license and one of them was being hit by a 16 year old drunk driver who fled the scene and when the guy who witnessed this chased him down and then the cops got there, the father had switched seats with his son, but needless to say they both were busted (this later turned into court drama) and then my second accident was completely stupid and my fault and I was the only person involved. You know those orange barrels that they put up in construction sites? I hit one and not with my mother's nice new car, but only the outside mirror. Took it right off. I still don't know quite how I did that, but yeah...I tend to agree with you, lol. Oh! and I did get a speeding ticket coming home from spending the weekend with Jason when we were still dating. I was going 85 in a 70. $300 fine and I never sped again....well on main highways anyway. Report
March 28, 201115 yr comment_33645 besides my dui, which i can only blame myself, i have only gotten parking tickets. cops tend to like me, let me off with warnings. it's all in the attitude. do chicks use t&a to their advantage with cops? probably some do, but i doubt the lower insurance is based on that.
