March 8, 201115 yr comment_32411 http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/science/rock-paper-scissors.htmlSo the NY Times has this website with an AI that will make you cry and swear you'll never play Rock Paper Scissors EVER AGAIN.For the most fun, pick the "Novice" mode. This way the AI will not rely on any of it's previous learnings and instead will learn from playing against you. Occasionally click the button on the computer side the view what the AI is "thinking" and how it is learning. It's interesting to see how it picks apart your play style.Prepare to get crushed people. I know I did. Report
March 8, 201115 yr comment_32419 Yea i got crushed but then i cheated everyround i seen what it was going to pick then i picked to beat it:) LOL then i played that way for 10 rounds then i tried to play without it... HOLY DAM ... it won ever time after that ... no ties just winning ... that was crazy thnks for this Report
March 8, 201115 yr Author comment_32420 Yeah it's incredible AI honestly. I can't touch it after 5 or 6 rounds. Report
March 8, 201115 yr comment_32422 Woot, I beat it on the first try (Veteran).I kept playing Rock over and over, it started playing Paper over and over, then I switched it up. Gave it advantage of 0-5 then I beat it 9-7 in a 20 round match. I think it was all my Rocks that threw it's prediction off. Very cool idea. Report
March 8, 201115 yr comment_32435 Yeah. Seems the best bet is to throw off the prediction. 15 12 21 is enough for me however. lol Report
March 9, 201115 yr comment_32459 only did 10 rounds. i think i have an idea on what it thinks. looked at the show what its thinking after this and i didnt understand what it was trying to do. cause i base my move off what i picked last time and how he would counter it. gonna try the harder setting now and see what happens that was on vet after 10 rounds, gets a little harder to predict to win. but atleast i tied Report
