Mr. Barnes had his life taken from him apparently trying to come to the aid of someone during an argument between a man and a woman on the evening of January.

A game artist, he has been active in the industry since 1996 and has worked with Activision, EA, Tiburon Studios and on properties such as Transformers and Kung Fu Panda.

He is survived by a 17 year old daughter and 8 year old son.

My thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
