[caption id=" align="alignright" width="391" caption="via Eurogamer][/caption] Eurogamer is reporting that the Channel 4 News Team recently caught a glimpse of what appears to be an unannounced Halo 5 game along with an icon for Project Gotham Racing during a recent demonstration by Microsoft's Jonathon Cluts of hidden Kinect technology. During the demo, Cluts is showing how he can change walls in a futuristic house. He passes by icons and chooses Grandma's Room. Clearly on either side are icons for "Project Gotham Racing" and "Inside Halo 5". This all could have been a marketing scheme cooked up by Microsoft or maybe there actually is a Halo Kinect title in the works. …

When Aksys Games released a limited edition of Arc System's BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, I applauded. Offering a CD soundtrack and a DVD strategy guide (or Blu-Ray if you bought the PS3 version) at the same price as the regular edition, this was a trend that needed to catch on. Surely other games would follow suit? Leave it to Aksys Games to completely ruin the very concept they created. Record of Agarest War will be released on a DVD for the XBox 360, and the "Really Naughty" Limited Edition (USRP $59.99) comes with a soundtrack CD, a pillow case featuring the character of Ellis, and a "3D" mousepad featuring the character Vira-Lorr. PS3 Owners will be lucky out of l…

Capcom has announced that they have added Tricell CEO Excella Gionne as a playable character in RE5: Gold’s Mercenary Reunion mode. Why? Your guess is as good as mine considering that fan favorite Leon should have been added, but who am I to get in the way of a gamer staring at video game boobage. Keep in mind that besides boobs, RE5: Gold will be offering new costumes for Chris and Sheva, along with the anticipated story of what really happened to Jill Valentine during the Spencer Mansion and gamers will also get to play through the race between Jill and Josh to get to Chris and Sheva after she was rescued by them in the events of RE5 before the “final” confrontation …

It shouldn't comes as a surprise to anyone that EA loves to milk DLC for every penny that they can get. So this piece of news should be expected. EA has officially announced that in the year 2011, every single title that they launch in 2011 will have online features and paid DLC. That’s right folks. Every single title is going to be milked until it is bone dry. Is this a lame attempt to try to keep down the selling of used copies of their games (looking at you Mass Effect 2) or has EA finally gone too far with the love affair for DLC? bit-tech Click here to view the article

Well well. Enter the Final Fantasy XIII launch party in London Oxford Circus where the "hardcore" Final Fantasy fans booed the 360 Final Fantasy XIII Bundle when presenter Alex Zane announced it is a prize. It was raining hard. It was the kind of rain that would make a person want to stay inside all day, while drinking a cup of hot coffee staring out the window, but for one soldier he had to keep going. He slowly moved through the buildings going door to door making sure the rooms were clear. The pitter patter of the rain on the roof was making it difficult to listen for the footsteps of enemy soldiers, but he moved on yelling “Clear!” along the way. As he exited one building and was heading to take cover behind a truck, he heard the sounds of footsteps sloshing through the mud. He poked his head out around the corner with his M4 steady and the mud stained enemy soldier that…

That is the question after a recent statement that was made by Activision's Bobby Kotick after the rumor mill has been swirling about Activision making a Call of Duty MMO that would require a subscription to play online. "If you think about the success that we've had in other product categories on subscription, you can get a sense of the direction that we want to take that franchise," Quick to show that they are not down with that decision if it happens, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling released a statement. "This rumor has absolutely nothing to do with Infinity Ward or our games, including Modern Warfare 2. We would never introduce such a system for Modern Warfare 2 so do…

Modern Warfare 2's training level "The Pit" has made the jump from your television screen to real life. A British television show, The Gadget Show, built a complete mock up of the level all the way down to the amount of targets, civilians, and distance it takes to get to each target area. Why would a television show do this? To challenge a real life ex special ops soldier to take on the course while host Jason Bradbury plays the 360 version of "The Pit". Who do you think won? People of Scotland can rest a bit more easier at night knowing that their tax payer dollars are going to fund “Brain Training” for inmates in jail that includes the inmates being given Nintendo DS’s that contain brain training software. The decision made by Scottish officials was the right move because in their minds, inmates have a lessor chance of becoming a repeat offender if they play the “brain training” software on the DS by improving their employment chances. Say what? The government is basing their decision off of a study that was conducted about the education of prisoners. This study also concluded that if children benefit from playing “brain” games on the DS, t…
