The countdown is complete and the sarcasm has returned. Who was the most fail-tacular in the world of all things games this past week? Cheaters, you filthy worthless beings who make gaming difficult for the rest of us receive the Fail of the Week Award. This week the cheaters of the gaming universe united in Bungie's swan song, Halo: Reach. Unfortunately for them, Bungie swung the banhammer resetting the credits of 15,000 losers who found an exploit to gain unlimited credit points and banning them for 24 hours. Bungie has hinted that there might be more punishment to come. On the PC side of things, Blizzard is also taking action against cheaters who are choosing to us…

So to every single one of you that have poured every bit of energy that you could muster into the Halo series over the years we raise our glasses and say, "Thank You". Without you, the following memories would not be possible. "I remember playing Halo CE over and over again with my friends. It was truly the first FPS I played and I fell in love with it. I played the entire campaign on Legendary from day one and we beat that game like it was nothing. I still remember the last …

Occasionally we read something that is so far out there in the world of all things gaming that we have to take a moment and acknowledge those dumbasses with "The Dumbass Award". Have you ever found yourself playing a game Frogger and thinking, "Gee, I want to play a real life version of Frogger.". If you answered "yes" to that question, then you are just as insane as this guy who failed at playing a real life version of Frogger yesterday. A 23 year old dumbass from South Carolina was struck by a 2010 Lexus after attempting to navigate a four lane highway like the video game Frogger. He stood beside the highway and when traffic was coming he yelled, "Go!" and jumped in …

If you were thinking of buying Nintendo's 3DS for your child or little brother or sister, you might want to hold off on that. Nintendo's Reggie Fils-Aime has released quite a few statements saying that Nintendo's latest DS model which uses 3D technology is not safe for children under the age of 7 who's eye muscles are still not fully developed and that the 3DS can cause them to have headaches and other symptoms because their eyes will have to strain to make sense of the 3D imagery. In a report by Helium, this announcement made by Fils-Aime might cut Nintendo's demographic field with the 3DS by 60% considering that the handheld is geared more to children in the 5-10 age…

We at Gamercide had a chance to talk to the guys over at Nice Technology about their upcoming free to play MMO, Picaroon. It's supposed to be a sort of semi-futuristic piratey MMO RTS, but isn't as complicated as it sounds. Just read on to see what Nice Tech had to say. Q – Can you give us a brief history of Nice Technology? Nice Technology was formed in 2009 when it got together with Toby Simpson the developer of AliceServer the MMOG engine (unique, we believe, in having an agent based architecture) to develop the software further and self publish games made with it. Nice Technology has worked on two titles, one Tronji an MMOG for children developed for BBCW and Ra…

Shitty. Really shitty. Those are the words used by Team Meat's Edmund McMillen to describe the now not so upcoming Super Meat Boy for Wiiware. "There is no way to avoid the fact that if we released a 40MB version of Super Meat Boy it would be a shit version of the game, It's a lose lose situation, but the fact of the matter is if we release a shitty game, we will have to live with that for the rest of our careers and have to cop to the fact that it is a shitty game." Team Meat also said that a retail version of Super Meat Boy for the Wii is probably not going to happen either. Sounds like you Wii owners are SOL. via IGN Click here to view the article
