Ubisoft Annecy's multiplayer game director Damien Kieken confirmed the news that there will be no multiplayer beta for Assassin's Creed 3 claiming that Ubisoft would rather spend time perfecting the game, then putting out a time consuming beta. "To be honest, it’s something we want to do every year because we get community feedback that helps us tune the game. If you played Bethesda's 2006 mega hit Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion than you were no doubt disappointed when Bethesda released the first DLC item for the RPG, the Horse Armor. Bethesda wants you all to know that those days are behind them. Nintendo's President, Satoru Iwata has confirmed that Nintendo is no longer making a profit off of the handheld 3DS and as a result him and other top Nintendo Executives were given a pay cut to the tune of half their current salary. Iwata's confirmation comes just days after rumors began swirling that the handheld king was quickly losing money as the 3DS's price drop was announced. Yesterday, Mojang released the long awaited "Adventure" update for the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft. The features in the update include "Creative" mode which features an unlimited supply of blocks and allows the player to create the world that they want without the restraints of stop and go mining. Capcom released details regarding their upcoming entry into the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil 6. The game will be set in 2013 and will have fan favorite with amazing hair Leon Kennedy traveling to a fictional town in China called, Lanshiang. Playstation 3 users have been barking up Activision and Treyarch's tree shortly after the release of Black Ops 2, due to growing issues of in game freezing and server problems. Keep in mind that the 2010 launch of the first Black Ops was also plagued with similar issues on the PS3. Gamers have been reporting repeated issues of freezing in both single player and multiplayer modes and also not being able to connect to a server when trying to play online. Activision has released a statement over Twitter stating that they are actively working on a fix to the growing number of complaints. Honest Hearts, the first of three DLC packs that were announced for the somewhat buggy RPG from Bethesda, Fallout: New Vegas has been released today for the Xbox 360. The Playstation 3 release is being halted until the Playstation Network gets back up and running. In Honest Hearts, you will find yourself going on an adventure that will ultimately lead you to Zion and the "Burned Man". New missions have been added, along with new perks, characters, and achievements that will boost your gamerscore up by 140 points. Those of you waiting for DLC news from Homefront's developer Kaos Studios might not be getting any news at all in the near future. THQ announced that they have closed the doors at Kaos Studios and the UK studio, Digital Warrington. Activision and Treyarch continue to show their love to Call of Duty: Black Ops fans by announcing another DLC pack, Rezurrection. The $15 add on will release on the Xbox 360 on August 23. Playstation 3 and PC will receive it sometime before the end of September. Rezurrection will feature 5 Zombies maps that include 4 remakes from previous levels Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese in Call of Duty: WaW. Late February Australia struck down another video game from being sold in their country due to the violence in the game. This time it was NetherRealm's and Warner Bros's bloody good fighting game, Mortal Kombat. The reason for the ban involved a series staple, the fatalities.
