As the Wii prepares for motion controlled competition, PS3 is preparing to hit the ground running with 10 games available for the new user interface by the end of the year. The games released will include "sports and pet raising titles." PS3 owners are outraged over the recent patch that was put out for Call of Duty Black Ops which was suppose to improve the problems that gamers were having connecting to mulitplayer matches. Instead, the patch which went out on Monday has made the problems much worse and PS3 owners want the game fixed and they want it fixed now. Found by Eurogamer on the official website for Call of Duty Black Ops is a thread that was started in the forum for the PS3 version that has been named, "the retard 1.04 patch". The Playstation 4 is rumored to have been spotted suffering from what is being called the "Red Line of Death" while the display console sat in an unventilated display case during an event where Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was being shown. The supposed photo which appeared in a forum post on Spanish website, Elotrado claims that the PS4 displayed an error message on the TV that said the console was experiencing a high temperature and a red line appeared where it is normally blue. On February 7th, the Playstation Network will be going under a cosmetic overhaul. The Playstation Network is being renamed to Sony Entertainment Network. Sony cites that it will easier for users to associate the Sony Playstation brand with all of the Sony’s products. The name change will not affect current PSN account holders other than the “PSN” part. “The rebranding of PlayStation Network accounts to Sony Entertainment Network accounts is a change in name only,” explained Sony in an email to Eurogamer. “Your username or password will not change, nor are we asking you to change them.” Sony will be issuing a new Terms of Service and User Agreement along with the name …
