Xbox 360 gamers who are anxiously awaiting to get their grubby little hands on CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will have to wait beyond the end of this year. The third person RPG with multiple endings was expected to release by the end of this year, however CD Projekt RED announced that they are pushing the release date back until sometime in early 2012. Batman and Bane will be fighting side by side in Batman: Arkham City. Announced at Comic Con 2011, Bane will be an AI partner who helps Batman track down chemicals in side missions. Last month Crysis 2 disappeared off of the download list and Alice: Madness Returns was late to appear on Steam after it released. In Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai, you play as Logan who after his plane crashes in a remote location in Alaska must survive off of the land. Along the way, Logan will find hunting gear and firearms to aid you in your battle of survival against the scariest foes that the Alaskan wilderness has to offer. This highly anticipated game is expected to launch on all consoles on November 1, 2011. I have one question though. A couple days ago, Nintendo made a shocking announcement that they are already dropping the price of the recently released Nintendo 3DS and that they are no longer turning a profit on the handheld. This announcement was made by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata to investors. Iwata also announced that himself and other top executives have a taken a paycut to the tune of half of their salary as a result of the fall out. Sony has changed the launch date of the Playstation Vita in the United States and Europe to early 2012, while Japan will still be getting Vita in late 2011. Sony's soon to be Chairman of Sony Computer Entertainment Kazuo Hirai made the announcement and also confirmed that the $249.99 - $299.99 Vita will not see a price drop because of Nintendo's decision to lower the price of their Nintendo 3DS. The followup to Gearbox's successful 2009 RPG, Borderlands has been confirmed however Gearbox's CEO Randy Pitchford is not pleased that the details were leaked so soon. According to 1up, Pitchford took to Twitter yesterday to show his unapproval for the early announcement and targeted "shoddy journalism" (Eurogamer?) for the leak. Talk about a verbal beatdown. Activision and Treyarch continue to show their love to Call of Duty: Black Ops fans by announcing another DLC pack, Rezurrection. The $15 add on will release on the Xbox 360 on August 23. Playstation 3 and PC will receive it sometime before the end of September. Rezurrection will feature 5 Zombies maps that include 4 remakes from previous levels Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese in Call of Duty: WaW. Is one of the industry's leading developers picking on the developer behind the ever so addicting, Minecraft? Bethesda has made contact with Minecraft developer Mojang, claiming that Mojang's next game which happens to be titled "Scrolls" is an infringement against Bethesda's popular Elder Scrolls series. Bethesda is citing that gamers will confuse their Elder Scrolls games including the yet to be released Skyrim with Mojang's Scrolls. MotoGP 9/10 is set to race onto a tv set near you in March and already Capcom is announcing free DLC for the game. The first DLC pack will feature the 800cc bike class with bike, riders, team liveries, and the new tracks for the 2010 season which are Silverstone and Hungary. The second DLC pack will include the 600cc and 125cc bike, riders, and team livery updates. Capcom says that both DLC packs will be available shortly after the game releases in March and that they are both free to download.
