Xbox 360 gamers who are anxiously awaiting to get their grubby little hands on CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will have to wait beyond the end of this year. The third person RPG with multiple endings was expected to release by the end of this year, however CD Projekt RED announced that they are pushing the release date back until sometime in early 2012. Is Valve out to get the industry giant EA or has EA completely lost their mind? EA is once again pointing the finger at Valve after Dragon Age II was taken off of Valve's downloadable service, Steam. Last month Crysis 2 disappeared off of the download list and Alice: Madness Returns was late to appear on Steam after it released. Since then EA has been on the defensive saying that this is Valve's doing and has nothing to do with EA's online EA Store. via 1up Click here to view the article

The wonderful and creative folks over at Activision have decided to bless us all with another attempt at a hunting game. In Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai, you play as Logan who after his plane crashes in a remote location in Alaska must survive off of the land. Along the way, Logan will find hunting gear and firearms to aid you in your battle of survival against the scariest foes that the Alaskan wilderness has to offer. This highly anticipated game is expected to launch on all consoles on November 1, 2011. I have one question though. Will Les Stroud be bundled with this surviving off the land adventure? via Activision Click here to view the article

  5. Are you willing to shell out an extra $25.00 a year for "early" access to games and DLC courtesy of EA's new money maker, EA Sports Season Ticket? If you answered yes to that, make sure that read the fine print before buying. As pointed out by many websites including Canada Reuters and Joystiq, there are hidden terms in the fine print. Fine Print 1: "Three days before a game's scheduled release, fans will be able to download and play the full version of all five participating titles on Xbox 360 and PS3™**. The digitally downloaded game will time out when the game is available at retail and consumers have the option to purchase the same full game on disc at retail. …

According to 1up, Pitchford took to Twitter yesterday to show his unapproval for the early announcement and targeted "shoddy journalism" (Eurogamer?) for the leak. Talk about a verbal beatdown. Eurogamer first announced the leak yesterday claiming that they got the information from an unnamed source. More drama ensued as Ars Technica tried to stand up for Eurogamer and the other gaming websites that carried the story on, however Pitchford was not having it as proven in the previous tweet. via 1up and A…

The game also released on the Playstation 3, however Japan was the only country to receive it on Sony's console.
