  1. Nothing beats a kick in the scrotum to start your day. Ex Darksiders 2 Senior UI Designer, Xander Davis has said in an interview with Not Enough Shaders that Nintendo's upcoming console the Wii U is "$400 Xbox 360 seven years late." "I’ve not worked on any Wii U version of anything (luckily). But, y’know, I very early on raised my major concern about this. Anybody buying any Wii U game that’s a port is probably buying it almost exclusively and specifically for how it can play differently through the Wii U’s alleged innovated UI. I’m already a known skeptic on whether the interface paradigm is at all anything but idiotic. But if you’re gonna do it? Fine. Then, you H…

  3. Creators of the upcoming Kinect only spin on the Fable series, Fable: The Journey, are saying that fans are being unfair and that they really need to just give it a chance. Former Microsoft employee and Fable Designer Peter Molyneux said in a recent press conference that he wants gamers to know that they will not be “leaping” through the air. “From the blogs and the posts that I’ve seen, there’s a lot of skepticism out there. People think that they’re going to be leaping around the room or they’re going to have to shout at the top of their voice and feel embarrassed. Today's Fail of the Day is being brought to you by previous Fail of the Week winner, Fox News. Every now and then Fox News decides to take step out of the daily national and worldwide news and try something different, like writing about video games that are considered "controversial". Take Bulletstorm for example. Fox News claimed that playing Bulletstorm will make you rape women and that the "possibly worst video game ever" is a bad influence on today's youthful fragile minds. What could be more fail-tacular than their ground breaking study on Bulletstorm? According Fox News, Duke Nukem is taking "sexism" to a whole new level in Duke Nukem Forever and that we should…

  13. This Fail of the Day is being brought to you by Konami. Last week, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow DLC Reverie found it's way onto the PSN in North America to the surprise of fans considering that no release date was announced concerning the PS3 version of Reverie. Turns out Konami made an error and the content was never suppose to be released in North America which is why there is now a delay with the European version which should have hit their PSN on March 30. To make matters even more embarrassing, Konami cannot take it down. Producer David Cox stated over Twitter in response to an angry European gamer, "put up there in error and it's too late to take it down. I symp…

  14. Gamers have been pouring into Metacritic to give their own reviews and score for Mass Effect 3 which just so happened to release at midnight. Unfortunately most of the reviews have been zeroes due to some fail worthy comments who apparently cannot stomach that you can have same sex relations in the game and astonishingly managed to beat a 20-40 hour game within 12 hours of release. This is just to merely serve as an embarrassment to the asshat cry babies in this world. *Caution ramblings below were not edited for spoilers or profane language. Last week, Sony's Sony's Senior VP of Publisher Relations Rob Dyer went on the defensive by taking a shot at Microsoft's right to deny downloadable arcade games that appear on the Playstation Network first after Microsoft admitted that they are "biased". "We're a little biased, so obviously we're going to look to protect our own space..." ~European Xbox Boss, Chris Lewis in an interview to Eurogamer. " Whilst I can't be specific about the terms and conditions, you can be very confident we seek to maximise our own advantage to ensure the playing…

  16. Today's Fail of the Day is being brought to you by the parents who choose to be uneducated about video games and the associates at a Best Buy who are just plain stupid. Naturally with Christmas comes lists for Santa that are filled with video game requests from little gamers all across the country. It should come as no surprise that Modern Warfare 3 is topping those lists this year. For one news website based in Virginia this "violent" video game is causing some parents concern, because they and what a shocker here, know nothing about it. According to WHSV.com, the mature rating is causing parents to be cautious and they decided to ask the gamer know it alls at a local…

  21. A UK newspaper out of Norfolk, England has blamed the Resident Evil series for a vicious murder that transpired back in May. Their reasoning behind the comparison of the murder and the zombie franchise is because the three murders who the media has dubbed the "Resident Evil Killers" tortured a 44 year old man to death by using a pool cue, burned his body with boiling water, slashed his body up, and then carved the letter "J" on the victim's face. A claw hammer and boning knife were among the weapons found at the scene. The trio of killers also mentioned the series while on the stand. The judge sentenced Ricky Roys; age 20, Andrew Brown; age 42, and Helen Cooke; age 1…

My faithful Fail Award junkies, it is that time again. Who had the most brown stained week in the gaming industry? This week was full of blunders and angry child like rants, (looking at you David Jaffe) but who stood out the most? Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to bring to you your Fail Award winner for the week of Feb. 28........ That's right Activision. You have won this award plenty of times in the past and you might as well add one more notch to your Fail Award winning belt. What led Activision to winning this glorious award? Their douchebagery this past week that led to the firing of Infinity Ward's two main men and the announcement of whoring out the Call …

Who proved to be more of a douchebag than the winner of last week's Fail Award, Activision? I present to you, your Fail of the Week Award winner for the week of March 7th. Fanboys represent the lowest of the low in terms of fans of either a series or console in the gaming industry. These trolls scan forums, news posts, and anything they can find to infect the interwebs with there immature one sided views of their beloved favorite game or favorite console. So what happens when you get a bunch of "hardcore" Final Fantasy fans in the same room as an Xbox 360? …
