Link, here.

SWAT team breaks into home, fires seven rounds at family’s pit bull and corgi (?!) as a seven-year-old looks on.

They found a “small amount” of marijuana, enough for a misdemeanor charge. The parents were then charged with child endangerment

I'm all about cops, I'm going to be one when I'm older and my ultimate goal is to be on the SWAT team myself but, this is just unnecessary. I can understand not knowing what to do if a dog was coming at you but shooting it 7 times in front of children all for an ounce of weed...wow.

I know there are some folk here who are members of the police force and such so please don't take what I say disrespectful, that's not my intent. I do have the highest respect for law enforcement agencies; but at the same time, I feel that in that field comes power that is sometimes misused. I know in my town at least they've gone overboard in the past similar to the level of this story. This story is really disgusting though and to me at least, not that surprising.

yeah, it was the parents who endangered the kids, not the paramilitary lead zealots opening fire.

i'd like to know what they actually came in there for. obviously what they found makes their actione disproportionate.
