- What is Damned? 

Damned is a randomized online horror game for up to 5 players (4 survivors and 1 monster). 
You’ll be able to play as one of four people trapped in different haunted places (hotels, hospitals, etc). 
As a survivor your main objective will be finding your way out, as well as helping your friends get out too. You’ll often find yourself on the edge, hearing and seeing ghostly things, trying to find keys and items to help in your escape. And sometimes you’ll find yourself running desperately from a monster, who’s there only to find and kill you and your friends. 
You’ll also be able to play as the monster. The game will feature different monsters, each one unique in its gameplay and hunting style.

This game is so much fun. Played with a handful of people last night, including my son. We were about to start a new lobby when I looked at the clock and it was almost 6AM. lol

Monday we'll launch a big update, containing a new monster and two new stages, and with this update we'll raise the price of Damned.

So this will be the last weekend you'll be able to pay the current price for Damned. Also, with this update we'll release a 4-Pack.

Today is the last day to pick this game up for $10. On Monday, there will be a price hike along with new maps and a new monster. A four pack will also be available, but no word on its pricing yet.

New monster (Phantom) in-game

Today we are introducing a brand new monster to the game. Phantom is here to make things a little more "quiet". Why you ask ? Because he is very sensitive to noise.

Pro tip: Don't make any noises at all! High level noises can be heard from far... but even flashlight clicks can bother him when too close!

Playing Phantom requires more attention then ever! So you don't need to manually set traps around, the game will do that for you, so go after those damn survivors!

It's a whole new game now with this new monster. You'll need different tactics for the different monsters.

Did they fix the gamma issue? Because that almost killed the game for me.

I've tinkered with my monitor to give myself a little extra. You could also use your graphics card settings.

 

If you look at the forums, there's so many who would scream if you can see any other colors than black. GAMMA CHEATER LRN2PLAY!

Looks like a pretty cool concept. I might pick it up sometime, when I get back to gaming.
