This is pretty cool.  If you don't have a fancy sound card, or headset that is already doing it, you can use this software.  It's currently free, but they are asking for a donation to Child's Play. You don't have to donate, but the price of the software will be going to 19.99 in January 2014.  I haven't tried it yet, but it's likely worth giving a shot.

Just did a quick test. Seems to work pretty well. Damn well, considering it's free.
