Herd u liek Nuketown 2025

Tough shit. Your pre-order map will no longer be in its special play list.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 map 'Nuketown 2025' - a fan favourite - has been pulled from online multiplayer playlists.

Posting via Twitter, game design director David Vonderhaar confirmed, "Double XP weekend is official over. That means Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 is as well. I know. RIGHT? Don't kill the messenger."

Essentially, this means that the Nuketown playlist has been removed, and the map has not been put into circulation with other maps in regular playlists.

In a subsequent post, Vonderhaar goes on to explain that Nuketown 2025 will only be back for "special events".

"Nuketown 2025 / 24-7 will be back for special events. You can always play it with your friends in Custom Games," he said.

The Nuketown 2025 map - a remake of Black Ops favourite Nuketown - was offered as a redeemable DLC map to those who pre-ordered the game and, was assumed to be permanently available for online play, not as an 'events-only' temporary map.

I didnt even get a chance to play it, oh well, they do some stupid stuff, cant wait for more DLC that you can only use "sometimes"

There's probably gona be a DLC next week.

This is the lamest thing I ever heard! There was not even an xbox live update for the game. You go in and sure enough it is gone. So these companies can just do whatever they want? On top of it all we are paying for live to even get access to these features they just randomly take away. They should not be able to do this on console considering it costs us extra just to even access these features of the game.

What is sad is that Nuketown is one of the better maps. What is even sadder is that they supposedly remade it but it looks near identical to the last game's version. If they are gonna take its special playlist away then they should of added it to the normal online map group so it appears in the normal rotation.

Sure the map is still there in some way but custom games? Yeah so now I need to find and invite a whole bunch of people separately to join a custom lobby just to setup a game for this one map? Crazy talk lol.

Special events? The special event is that I even bought this game dammit! Look the map is not my favorite but it is not cool that you pay $60 for a game and the cost of live to access features that were specifically used to encourage folks to buy the game and just take it back?

I think my rant is over but not sure lol

My two cents exactly. Bah. I hate DLC. This is why I've been playing PC a lot also, mostly World of Tanks and MWO.

It's good to speak your mind, man. lol

Yeah playin with my DLC and maps is like playin with my emotions! Someone liable to get seriously hurt over it lol :D
