I have never played mlb the show before, mostly because I just got my first ps3 for christmass. I must say, I would buy a console just for this game... Its that much fun. The only gripe I have is the ai pitching loves to throw way out, and the only control there is only adjusts the first pitch. On a 32" tv, the difference of a couple inches at the plate is almost intelligible.
