With an athletic build and statuesque, augmented height of 6'7", twenty-six year-old Yelena Fedorova is a trained assassin, part of an elite team of special operations mercenaries working for Belltower Associates, a private military corporation. A black woman with a cut of shoulder-length, spiky black hair, she's rarely seen out of her combat gear; her only affectation is a silver cross on a black steel chain around her neck, a family heirloom of great personal value.

Yelena is a ruthless and resourceful combatant, never choosing frontal assault when another approach will more easily destroy her enemies with less effort. When she moves, she does so with unexpected agility, speed, and grace – a sleepy-eyed cobra uncoiling rapidly as it strikes. Well aware of being one of few women in a man's world, Yelena has become adept at vigilance and is cautious of everything around her; she's not easy to sneak up on, and usually has a plan for every eventuality.

You play as Adam Jensen, and he's only 6'1". Imagine meeting this assassin in-game, and her towering over you. I can't wait!

I pre-ordered this along with Skyrim yesterday. It sounds good. I'm hoping there is going to be a really good story around the augmentation or modification of humans. There is some deep material to pull from there.

If you can swing it, pick up the Deus Ex novel, Icarus Effect. It predates the storyline of this game, and is an excellent read. You start seeing riots put together by the purists, who are absolutely against the auggies (augmented). Very interesting and makes me wonder if that could ever happen in real life.

I just checked it out on the site that I buy most of my books from, and they've got it for $15. I might get it next pay day. I think about that sort of thing from time to time, as well. The book should be good. Thanks!

Excellent, that's how much I paid for my copy. =]

It'll be nice to finally talk to someone else who has read it. Can't wait.

She's hot if you cover up half of her face. Either that or she looks like a man if you cover up the wrong half. lol

Seems like she'd be a pretty cool character though.

Damn tall woman and her augmented legs freak me out.

As an aside, if you've read the Deus Ex novel, Icarus Effect, you'll recognize many characters in the game, from the novel. That excites me. I kinda knew already, since I crossed a few. However, there are some I didn't expect to be in it, that are. Hell yeah!

Thats a huge bi%ch....

She's extremely bad ass, too. Super fast, silent and able to cloak.
