Hell yeah it's worth finding out. I hate to say 'it's only' but. It's only 295 feet deep. Hell, there are scuba diving records 3 times that depth. Might be costly to the guy who found it, but it's well within our realm of checking out. Hell, if it is an object it's well with the realm of raising off the floor of the ocean.
