In a nutshell, Google+ is google's attempt at their own social networking site. It's in it's beta stage now, I believe. Any thoughts on it (the concept at least)?

Just like Google Buzz, it'll fail.

Personally, I understand why they would try to create their own social networking site, but people gravitate towards originality. If you have a facebook page, why sign up for practically the same service in which not as many people are a part of it?

Yes. While not original, I do like some of their unoriginal properties. I adore GTalk. There's no way I could use another IM, after using it.
