Now this is where VR will excel.  Did they ever say if the current PS4 was going to be compatible with the VR headset or will we have to buy a new console?

Nope, current PS will be able to play all of them.  I posted in another thread a picture of what comes with the PSVR bundle.  You can by just the components I think, but the bundle comes with the PS Camera (which I don't have), two move controllers (again, don't have), and a bunch of games, along with the actual headset and what I'm just going to go ahead and call the "processing box". 

The processing box is a like a separate mini console that plugs into your console in order for the PSVR to work.  It's kinda like an off-board GPU thing that you'd plug into a laptop for better performance if that makes sense?  So it's giving the PS4 a huge boost in order to run things as required.  Does that make sense?

Yeah, sounds pretty slick then.  Depending on cost, I might end up trying this on PS4 and wait to grab the next generation of hardware for PC.
