So the Space Quest creators did end up going the kickstarter route to fund their SpaceVenture. Here's the link http://www.kickstart...rs-of-space-que One thing they're doing different is releasing a demo every 100k tier they meet. Not sure if this is after the 500k or on the road to 100k.

The Witcher 2 developer CDProjekt is looking for new staff to work on two new RPGs in development at the studio. is apparently an "RPG in a dark fantasy world", with a little sword icon next to it. The other is said to be an "RPG in a brand new setting", and has a gun icon next to it - hinting at a more modern setting. "Both are story-driven RPG games for mature players," says the developer. CDProjekt describes the "RPG in a brand new setting" as "a vast RPG" in an "entirely new and different IP" - somewhat suggesting that the other game is not (The Witcher 3, you say?). "We're looking for people who would rather work on an entirely new and different IP - a vast RPG for…

Has anyone else checked this out yet? I got it on Steam and checked out the first couple episodes and it's pretty slick. I wish my Game Informer online version was more like this. I regret making this year's GI subscription digital, because it's pretty much just the same as the magazine, but in a slow loading PDF file with poor scrolling/zooming controls. The only real advantage is search features you couldn't use in a physical magazine, but you don't really need them. Lol I haven't even been reading the last couple because of that, but it's only a $15 a year thing that comes with my GameStop discount card. PC Gamer Digital is mostly just videos and galleries so far (…

Magicka Releases “WOOT” DLC, Forgets to Set Price Free New Challenge and PvP Content Gives Wizards a Sporting Chance at Gory Glory Paradox Interactive have good news and bad news. The good news is that an all-new DLC pack, entitled Magicka WOOT, has been released , adding lots of new maps, items, and spells to the Magicka pantheon. The bad news is that the guy in charge of collecting money won’t leave the TV because apparently there’s a major sport event on, so Paradox has no choice but to let everybody have the new DLC completely free of charge. Upon reflection, maybe that’s only bad news for Paradox. Magicka: WOOT allows playe…
