    In a surprising and not so scandalous news flash, Sony's Playstation 3 sales are finally catching up to Microsoft's sales of the Xbox 360. Sony released their financial reports for the Q2 fiscal year and show that the Playstation has moved 55.5 million units worldwide, just about catching and placing them in position to be on the verge of passing their rival console, the Xbox 360 which has moved 56.7 million units worldwide.     The Splinter Cell Trilogy bundle that is headed to the Playstation 3 appears to be releasing this September according to several video game retailers and Joystiq. GameStop, Amazon, and GameFly have all listed the release date for as September 27th, however Ubisoft has not confirmed the date.     The two co-op maps, The Dead Coast and Billionaire's Yacht were previously only available at launch in pre-orders and special editions, but now you can get your hands on them in the Homeland DLC.     While Ubisoft has kept mum on a specific release date for their recently E3 2012 unveiled Splinter Cell: Blacklist, it appears that Amazon UK has spilled the beans for them. A keen eye over at VideoGamer spied the next entry into the series on the Amazon UK website with a release date of March 29th, 2013.     Today Ubisoft announced that both Splinter Cell: Conviction and R.U.S.E. have been delayed in to the companies next fiscal year. While Splinter Cell was given a release date, R.U.S.E. was given no tentative date. With both originally scheduled for release in February and Splinter Cell's numerous delays, this may not be a good sign for either.

    Like a politician, Square Enix has flopped their opinion on a Final Fantasy VII remake and instead they are now stating that a Final Fantasy VII remake will happen when another Final Fantasy title can exceed the quality of Final Fantasy VII.     Fans who have anxiously been waiting on a remake of Square Enix's 1997 Final Fantasy VII are going to be waiting tad bit longer. Speaking to Famitsu, Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura told the Japanese magazine that a FFVII remake is not a priority at this time.
