The recording feature will allow you to capture up to 15 minutes of game footage. On top of the capture feature you can share the game stream with a friend, and that friend can even take over and help you with the game. This is a step in the right direction, but this is a small step forward in contrast to a large step back. While you can record your game without Playstation Plus, you can't play multiplayer without a subscription.

At CES Kaz Hirai, Sony Computer Entertainment Chief, somewhat detailed Sony's plan to unify all their products and offer premium media across the PS3, Vaio, Blu-ray, Bravia TVs, etc. A new studio called "Sony Network Entertainment" will be formed and Kaz will head this new studio. All this will use one username/password to access and purchase the content across all Sony devices. The content which is being developed by Eidos Montreal is set to pay homeage to a bank mission in Thief 2: The Metal Age. A representative for Microsoft confirmed the $59.99 price tag of Xbox One first party games to Polygon. PS3 owners are outraged over the recent patch that was put out for Call of Duty Black Ops which was suppose to improve the problems that gamers were having connecting to mulitplayer matches. The supposed photo which appeared in a forum post on Spanish website, Elotrado claims that the PS4 displayed an error message on the TV that said the console was experiencing a high temperature and a red line appeared where it is normally blue. Major Nelson tweeted this morning that the pony dance will be coming to an Xbox 360 near you soon.
