A good eye caught this image that appeared briefly on the EA Store for their upcoming RPG hit series, Mass Effect 3. The image which was quickly removed is similar to the one that appeared on Xbox.com for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier that showed the same purple logo with the words, "Better With Kinect Sensor". Bioware's Michael Gamble announced that the Mass Effect 3 downloadable content "From Ashes" will be available as a separate download for gamers who choose not plunk down the change for the Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition. In an attempt to try and please the angry Mass Effect fans who went bananas after seeing how Commander Shepard's story ended, Bioware has announced that later this summer Mass Effect 3 will get Extended Cut DLC. Just like every other game before it, Mass Effect 3 is getting pre-order content, but of course it all depends on who you pre-order with and if you pre-order it at all. Gamers who pre-order from GameStop will get N7 Warfare Gear along with the N7 Valkyrie assualt rifle. Origin pre-orders will be receiving the AT12 Raider shotgun and the M55 Argus assault rifle. Fans of the Mass Effect series will be happy to know that they surpassed the number of pre orders for Mass Effect 2 with Bioware's upcoming entry into the series, Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 3 might not be releasing until 2012, but it appears that you will at least get your hands on a demo before the game releases. According to Eurogamer, a tweet from Executive Producer Casey Hudson hints that news on a demo will be coming in a few months after he replied back to a Mass Effect fan over social networking giant Twitter who wished him "best of luck" with Mass Effect 3.

Confirmed today via Mass Effect 3's Executive Producer Casey Hudson's Twitter is the same-sex friendly option meaning that Commander Shepard can engage in relationship acts with anybody regardless of sex. EA has once again proven that being the bigger man is not in their vocabulary when it comes to dealing with their Origin's competition, Steam. Oh Mr. Payne, it appears that you are really turning out to be a pain. Take-Two has announced that Max Payne 3 has been delayed until May 2012. Reasons behind the delay were not revealed in the press release, however Take-Two stated Rockstar would give details later today. Take-Two also announced a net loss for the fiscal year. They were expecting to make around 1 billion in revenue from their products and instead are reducing that number to somewhere in between $120 million and $239 million.

Take Two has announced that the return of the originator of video game Bullet Time, Max Payne 3 has sold over 3 million copies since it's release on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on May 15th. Take Two also announced that they are planning on releasing seven DLC packs for the game beginning on June 1st. The DLC appears to cater towards the multiplayer aspect of Max Payne 3 which some fans have said is lacking and needs work. June 1st's DLC release is titled, Local Justice Map Pack. via Side M

Max Payne 3 is "still in development" according to a recent posting on Eurogamer after they had an investor call with Take-Two's CEO Strauss Zelnick, but would not say anything else regarding the game which seems to have slipped into the shadows. A small group of members from the now defunct developer Bizarre Creations have joined together to form a new studio, Hogrocket. Peter Collier, Ben Ward, and Stephen Cakebread along with two BAFTA award winning animators formed the studio and are focusing their efforts for the time being to the iPhone/iPad, Mac, and PC. One of the co-hosts pointed out during Kojima's show that MGS4 would need a seven (yes I said seven) DVD's in order to play MGS4 on the Xbox 360 compared to the 50 GB storage of just one blu-ray disc. Speaking on his radio show, Hideo Kojima stated that the Metal Gear Solid: Legacy Collection which contains Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition will not be coming to the current gen version of the Xbox, because it cannot hold the amount of space required to contain the beast that is Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
