Miscellaneous Rules:

• Anybody who sends me a PM with one complaint is getting publicly shamed this year with a screenshot and it appearing openly in the forum. I have had it with the amount of PM's I receive year after year. I gave everybody the chance this year to say what they wanted to out in the open and nobody really did. So I am having none of it this year.

• There will be no preview list this year of what the prizes will be. You can find the reason for this in the "Donator" section.

• Categories this year include: Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC, Wii U, and Tablet/Ipad/mobile devices.

• Kira is in charge of making up the list of the winners. Nobody else is to do this, but Kira. Kira only. Kira does a fabulous job. Kira, Kira, Kira,

Donators:

• Please send me what you will be donating through a PM no later than January 24th. (Make sure to include the price if it is a gift card.)

• You are responsible for getting your own prizes out to the winners and making sure that you have their correct name and address.

• If you donate a prize and your winner PM's you letting you know that they already own that prize you have a decision to make. You can either PM me upon finding out and I'll toss it back in or you can hold your own little contest on your own time. I know this was requested for this year and I thought I'd give it you guys.

Participants

• All members of the Gamercide community are welcome to join the giveaway.

• Please send me your Gamercide handle through a PM and what categories you would like to put into. You can find the categories above.

• If you win a prize and are having an issue getting it, please let me know asap.

• If you win a prize, your name will be taken out of that category.

So there you have it. Feel free to share this during streaming, etc...

When the giveaway goes down I am going to try my best to stream some video gamage and do the giveaway live. I think that would be a nifty change of pace. I may have to take some breaks in count of the kiddos, but I think it'd be pretty damn cool for you guys to watch it live

TIME: 8:00 P.M. eastern time

WHERE: Gamercide

Participants

• In order to participate in The Annual Gamercide Giveaway, you must be a registered and an active member on the Gamercide forums. You cannot just be a member or contributor of our online streaming. Register

• If you would like to register for the giveaway, you must send me a PM or email to siren@gamercide.org that includes your Gamercide name and what consoles you own, handhelds, and if your PC is capable of handling large or small games.

• I must receive all entries no later than February 1st, 2014. If any entries are received after February 1st, 2014, they will not be included in the giveaway.

• There will be a preview date of the prizes except for the Gamercide Staff Bundle and the Grand Prize from February 3rd to February 5th. If you see a prize that you already have, please send me a PM or email and I will not include you for that prize.

• Like last year, you can win multiple times this year in one category.

• Everyone will have their name put in for the drawing for the Gamercide Staff Bundle and the Grand Prize. Only one name will be drawn for each prize. Keep in mind that you will not know what these prizes are until the evening of the giveaway. In past giveaways, we have given away prizes such as a netbook, gaming PC, and brand new consoles.

• Just like last year; Bitching, moaning (except for pleasurable moaning at the sight of the awesome prizes) will not be tolerated. This year you are again given the chance to preview and opt out of prizes that you already own. If you fail to send me a message with what prizes you are opting out of due to already owning them during the preview days, then it is your own damn fault and you are stuck with it.

• When you win a prize it is up to you to get in contact with the person who donated it to exchange your contact information. If there any problems feel free to PM me or send me an email.

Donations

If you are donating a prize this year, please send me a PM or an email with what you are donating and what platform it is form. All donations must be received by February 2nd.

Prizes

• Just like last year; there will be two "hats". One containing the prizes and the other containing the names. I will pull from the prize "hat" first, name "hat" second.

• The last two prizes that will be given away are the Gamercide Staff Bundle and the Grand Prize. Everyone who is participating has a chance to win either of these prizes.

As you may or may not know, Dejobaan Games has been making quality games for over 75 years.  They have released several PC games full of oddball humor and wackiness, held together by smooth gameplay.  These include The Wonderful End of the World, AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, and their very recently released game, 1... 2... 3... Kick It! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby).  The latter two compete for alphabetical superiority in my Steam library.

1... 2... 3... Kick It! was technically released as an alpha, which can be bought and will be supported and updated over time with the aid of user feedback, much like Minecraft.  It's a music based game along the lines of AudioSurf and Beat Hazard, with gameplay similar to AaAaAA!!! but influenced by your music.

Now why, you ask, are you getting a brief history lesson on Dejobaan Games?  Because all three of these games can be yours if you enter the contest at our forum.

All you have to do is register and post something interesting about potatoes in the contest thread.  Yes, potatoes.  You can use teh internetz if you must.  Still can't think of anything?  Make something up like so:  Chuck Norris tried to roundhouse kick a potato once.  Curly fries were invented.

The winner will be chosen at random and will be gifted all three of the games on the PC via Steam.  If you don't already have Steam, you can download it here.  Registration is simple and free.

Feeling statistically inferior?  No worries, if you don't think you'll win the grand prize there will still be a copy of AudioSurf or Super Meat Boy you could win, also through Steam.

All collected potato information will be compiled into a spreadsheet, analyzed by trained monkeys, then destroyed using an approved Aperture Science Emergency Intelligence Incinerator on Tuesday, April 19th.  Oh and the winners will be announced then, too.

All you have to do is head over to our forums, sign up, and make a post in this thread:  http://www.gamercide.org/forum/index.php?/topic/292-halo-legends-poster/#entry4369

Pretty simple right?  A winner will be randomly chosen once the contest closes on May 1st.  So what are you waiting for?  Head over and sign up!
